On November 24th, the "laser rust removal + automatic anti-corrosion" integrated pipeline production line independently developed by Tiancheng Lide Company of Huabei Oilfield was successfully put into operation and has been running stably. This production line adopts a seamless design of "rust removal - anti-corrosion", and through process integration and intelligent upgrading, it achieves clean and efficient production, promoting the "1+1>2" efficiency upgrade of pipeline business.
To overcome the problems of high environmental risks, low efficiency, and unstable quality, Tiancheng Lide Company of Huabei Oilfield conducted on-site investigations at oilfield pipeline construction sites, construction units, and anti-corrosion manufacturers, systematically analyzed the limitations of traditional processes, and after comprehensive comparisons of chemical, electrochemical, ultrasonic rust removal, and manual anti-corrosion methods, determined the "laser rust removal + automatic anti-corrosion" as the optimization direction. Through multiple rounds of tests and improvements in collaboration with various project departments, it was ensured that it was fully applicable to the oil and gas pipeline process scenarios.
The laser rust removal stage focuses on environmental protection, efficiency, and high standards, using high-energy laser beams to scan the metal surface, instantly vaporizing or stripping the rust layer, and then synchronously removing it with a suction system. The automatic anti-corrosion stage continues the integrated design concept, achieving full automation of primer spraying and tape winding, increasing the production efficiency of a single pipeline by 200%, reducing labor costs by 66%, and achieving a qualified anti-corrosion rate of 95%.
